Lunatus Receives “a” Rating From Dubai Sme

Lunatus has received an “A” rating by the SME Rate program, an initiative launched by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Established in 2002, Dubai SME was created as an integrated division of the Department of Economic Development (DED). It was developed as a resource for support, information and outreach for the growing small and medium enterprise sector. The initiative plays a key role in achieving the goals of Dubai Plan 2021. The 2021 plan focuses on increasing the contribution of SMEs’ to the GDP as they are considered an integral pillar of the local economy due to their contribution to generating innovative ideas, providing career opportunities, and boosting productivity.

Dubai SME Rating Framework is the first rating system for small and medium sized companies in the region. The system provides a comprehensive review of SME’s performance based on financial and non-financial criteria.

The Dubai SME Rating Framework highlights key areas of strength and improvements in the following areas:

  • Business Performance
    • Operational Analysis
    • Financial Analysis
  • Innovation
  • Corporate Governance & Excellence
  • International Expansion
  • Corporate Social Responsibility

The analysis took an in depth review of Lunatus’ strategies, company policies and procedures, operational processes, Business conduct and values. We at Lunatus were asked to submit extensive dossiers, profiles and presentations for an initial review, followed by a visit from two senior auditors who further analysed and scrutinized the company data in a meeting with Dr. Lina, our President & CEO.

We are proud to have received this rating and would like to thank our partners for their continued support and the Lunatus team for their relentless hard work and dedication to best serve our customers. We will continue to hold ourselves to the highest standards of excellence.
